Mark Bouw is the Founder and CEO of Straterra Australia. As one of Australia's most experienced operating partners at the intersection of medtech, digital health, and life sciences, Mark has accelerated companies through their pathway to exit, and his recent track record of exits speaks for itself: BioRez-Conmed, Theracell-IstoBiologics, and Volpara Health-Lunit — representing USD $443 million+ in combined exit value. Alongside these exits, Mark has increased cash runways, delivering more than AUD $200 million in non-dilutive cash outcomes across health, medtech, and purpose-led organisations. A Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, qualified accountant, registered tax agent, and former clinical nurse specialist in trauma care, he brings a rare combination of board-level governance, financial rigour, and hands-on operating discipline to the companies he works with. A Stanford GSB Visiting Industry Fellow since 2017, Mark works with founders, boards, and institutional investors across Australia and internationally, focusing on the five drivers of enterprise value that determine whether a company is built to exit or built to stall.
Paul Montgomery

Paul Montgomery brings a wealth of experience to his role as Advisory Board Chair and Executive Consultant at Straterra. A lawyer by background, he has served as an executive responsible for the growth and health of prominent organisations across the legal, aged care, disability, and health care sectors, as well as founding Digital Health, EdTech, and consulting businesses. As managing partner of Freehills, Melbourne, he led its improvement in market position from #12 to #1 in the Melbourne commercial market, chaired Wellways through a 10x revenue growth in eight years, and RDNS (now Bolton Clarke) through a 7.5x revenue growth over a similar period. Paul has consulted for service-sector businesses and peak bodies, chaired four businesses, and been a director of two others, including nine years on the board of Melbourne Primary Care Network. In addition to his extensive experience, he has developed a reputation for leading with a strategic focus, in an easy style, and with a relaxed sense of humour.
Rebecca Craggs

Rebecca works at the intersection of strategy, operations and implementation, supporting clients and advisers across strategic planning, business transformation, governance, transaction readiness and innovation programs. She has been involved in a broad range of engagements spanning business growth, capital raising, business sales, R&D Tax Incentive projects, governance and operational improvement initiatives. Drawing on experience across project management, finance coordination, human resources, governance and business operations, Rebecca plays a key role in ensuring complex engagements progress from strategy through to execution. She works closely with clients, advisers and stakeholders to coordinate competing priorities, maintain momentum and support successful outcomes. Her strength lies in bringing structure, accountability and practical implementation to projects.
Paul Frosdick

Paul Frosdick brings more than 30 years of executive leadership across healthcare, digital health, and consulting in Australia, the UK, and the US. A pharmacist by training, he has built a career at the intersection of clinical practice, health technology, and commercial strategy — playing a foundational role in the development of SNOMED CT and Australia's national medicines and prescribing infrastructure. As CEO of MediSecure, he delivered the organisation's first operating profit and quadrupled EBITDA within two years, before returning to advisory work supporting startups, pharmacy groups, and digital health innovators navigating Australia's evolving health ecosystem. Paul's edge is his ability to align complex stakeholder environments, translate clinical and technical complexity into commercial outcomes, and lead with credibility in highly regulated industries.
Daniela Marini

Daniela Marini supports Straterra’s financial control, administration, and operating discipline across internal operations and client-facing engagement support. She brings experience across the medical, consumer, and technology markets, with responsibility for coordinating the back-office functions that allow Straterra’s teams and clients to work together cleanly and consistently. Working closely with Straterra’s leadership, Daniela helps maintain the financial clarity, process reliability, attention to detail, and professional follow-through required in confidential, transaction-focused mandates. Her contribution is practical and execution-oriented: ensuring the finance, administration, and coordination foundations behind Straterra’s work are organised, responsive, and dependable.
